Terminal D used to serve as Sheremetyevo's second main international departures terminal. In March 2022 the airport temporarily closed Terminal D and redirected its flights to Terminals B and C. Terminal D later partially reopened but operates in a limited mode — serving only selected routes of specific airlines. Our GettSleep capsule hotel sat in Terminal D's clean zone, past passport control, and was built for transit passengers of that specific terminal. Without a stable through-traffic the location is not economically viable, so we mothballed it. We will reopen when the airport brings regular flights back to the terminal.

On foot via the covered above-ground passageway — ≈20 minutes. The passageway connects Terminal D directly to the Aeroexpress station without going outside. The underground APM shuttle also runs between terminals — from Terminal D via B and C, 5–10 minutes each, 24/7, every ≈4 minutes.
